Narinda Bridge

Narinda Bridge Dhaka
It was originally a single-arched brick-built bridge with cut-waters on either side. It was erected by Hayat Bepari, a tradesman of’ Narinda, in 1074 A.H. (A.D.1664). But now the arch has collapsed, and iron girders have been put in its place. It is one of’ the ten bridges that span the Dulai Khal in Dhaka. [Now the Dulai Khal is a thing of the past in Dhaka. The entire canal has been filled up, a road on it practically represents the canal now, and multitude of shops has grown on its either side.]
